Metal gobos are precision-cut, durable, and perfect for most single-color logos and patterns. But there are two situations where glass is the right call:
- You need color. Metal gobos project in a single tone. Glass gobos can reproduce your logo or design in full color, from a two-color mark to a photo-quality, multi-color image.
- Your design has breaks or bridges. Metal gobos need small "bridges" to hold floating pieces in place, like the center of an "O," the dot of an "i," or any enclosed shape. Glass has no such limitation, so your artwork projects exactly as designed, with no tie-bars interrupting the image.
If your project doesn't require either of these, a custom metal gobo may be the simpler, more affordable choice, and we're happy to point you in the right direction.
